Kunal Kohli declared his next project with Shahid Kapoor in the lead. It will be a period romantic drama. Kunal wanted Priyanka to play the female lead. He took it for granted that because of her importance in Shahid’s life, she will quickly agree to do the film. But he didn’t know that Piggy Chops and Shasha have decided to keep their professional commitments very separate from their personal equation. As a matter of fact, Priyanka didn’t sign on the dotted line yet! That threw Kunal Kohli in a spot of bother.
Priyanka Chopra is among the busiest actresses of tinsel town. She has a spate of films coming up and she’s also shooting for some. The notable ones among them are ‘Don 2’, Krishh 2’ and ‘Barfee’ where she plays a handicapped character. These films leave little room for Priyanka to squeeze in Kunal’s film. And she mentioned that at a press conference recently. She said, “The film is not confirmed yet and I am still in talks with Kunal.”
Priyanka recently got embroiled in a controversy with her latest release ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. One of her husbands in the film, Annu Kapoor apparently said that she refused to do intimate scenes with him because he was not a big star. Priyanka lost her cool when she heard this. She peeled off her diplomatic self and shot out that such scenes were never there in the screenplay and if Annu Kapoor wanted to do such scenes, he must work in B-grade films! Our insiders tell us that Annu Kapoor is a friend of Priyanka’s dad!
