Usually it's her tan that's orange... Amy Childs dazzles in a brightly coloured dress to celebrate her 21st birthday

She may not be one of the smartest women on the planet but Amy Childs proved to be a bright spark as she celebrated her 21st birthday last night.
The Only Way Is Essex star wore an eye-catching orange number for a surprisingly quiet evening at seafood restaurant Smiths in Ongar, Essex.
Amy's long dazzling dress was so bright it even subdued her usually glowing perma-tanned complexion.

The orange dress featured cut out panels on her hips and just about covered her white bra.
Amy completed her outfit with a pair of regulatory beige platform heels, a leopard print clutch bag and a simple studded bangle on her left wrist.
Joining the birthday girl were her parents Billy Snr and Julie and older brother Billy Jnr, 22.

The TOWIE star and her family would have been spoilt for choice at the restaurant, which was established over 50 years ago.
Aside from a huge selection of seafood, the eaterie also offers plenty of alternative meat and vegetarian options via its a la carte menu.

And she obviously had a fantastic time at the restaurant, which also has a branch in Wapping, east London.
After her evening out she tweeted: 'Had the best birthday early start tomorow xxxxx night tweeps xxx.'
As she left the restaurant, it appeared Miss Childs wasn't quite so camera-ready and hid behind her brother as she headed home.

With Amy hoping to be 'the next Jordan' a birthday from the glamour model's ex-husband was greatly received.

Amy would have been in a buoyant mood having recently appeared on as a judge on Britain's Got More Talent, the show's BAFTA win and no end of job offers on the table thanks to the success of The Only Way Is Essex.

Earlier this week she was forced to deny rumours she'd cheated on her boyfriend Joe Hurlock, 24, after being pictured leaving a club in Marbella, Spain, with footballer Jack Cork.
It was claimed by witnesses that Amy and Jack, who emerged from Marbella nightspot Pangea at 5am last Monday, were linked arm in arm before they saw photographers.
How she denied this point blank and insisted that the pictures had been blown out of proportion.
Amy explained that she was with her close friend Sam Faiers, 20, and three other girlfriends when they were introduced to Jack and his friends by Joey Essex’s sister, Frankie.
She said: 'Jack was actually a really nice guy and has a girlfriend. I can’t believe the press are suggesting I cheated on Joe with him.'
