He's got two dads but don't worry, if Elton John's son Zachary needs any female influence he's got Lady Gaga as his godmother

After months of speculation, Sir Elton John has confirmed that Lady Gaga is godmother to his son Zachary.
In his first TV interview following Zachary's birth, Elton reveals he and partner David Furnish invited Born This Way singer Gaga to be more involved in their son's life.
Asked by Barbara Walters if the rumours were true, Elton replied: 'Yes, yes she is [godmother].
'When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents.'

And Elton also told Walters he and Furnish are hoping Gaga is the perfect choice to help Zachary cope with his fame as he grows older.
He said: 'Zachary's going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, because she sure knows everything about the business now.'
Footage of Elton with Zachary was released today ahead of the interview with Walters, which airs in the U.S. tonight.

And in one clip, we see the 68-year-old singer is wearing his dressing gown as he rubs his son's back and burps him before bouncing him gently and singing a song.
Elton says: ‘Oh you got windy pops, oh there’s a good one, there’s a little burp. Good one.’
He then gushes over his little bundle and gives him a tender kiss before breaking into song.
The singer, who is seen wearing a pair of rose-tinted glasses, croons to Zachary: ‘I love my little boy, he’s my little pride and joy, he’s the gorgeous little babba in the world.’

The clip was posted on the ABC website from the chat with the 81-year-old U.S. presenter, which will air in full tonight.
Elton is to detail why he and Furnish wanted a child, how they kept him a secret until after he was born, and how fatherhood has changed them.
Elton, 64, will be joined by David, 48, also dressed in a dressing gown, and viewers will also get to see more Zachary.
Zachary, meanwhile, was seen enjoying the sunshine earlier this week and appears to be looking increasingly like Elton.

With his rounded cheeks, button nose and light brown hair, it appears that Elton may indeed be the father.
While his parents were busy working, the tot enjoyed a push around New York's Central Park by his nanny.
The little boy looked comfortable as he sat in a £680 black Bugaboo Chameleon pushchair gazing up at the nanny.
When Elton and partner David presented their son to the world in an exclusive magazine deal in January, they said they had left it to chance to determine who would be the biological father.
The couple became parents through a surrogate, who gave birth to Zachary in a California hospital on Christmas Day last year.
During the conception process, the mixing of their semen specimens was allowed - a process which is currently banned in the UK - before being used to fertilise a previously chosen egg.
In January, Furnish told OK! magazine: 'We both contributed. For the time being we don't have a clue. We look at him every day and at the moment he has Elton's nose and my hands.'
