Pippa returns to the scene of her triumph: The younger Middleton heads to the Goring Hotel for a beach party with her parents

Pippa Middleton was catapulted into the limelight after wearing 'that dress' at the royal wedding and last night she returned to where it all began.
The Duchess of Cambridge's sister accompanied her mother Carole and father Michael on a return visit to the Goring Hotel for a special beach party attended by 300 invitees.
Thrown by owner Jeremy Goring, the event marked the opening of Basil's Bar a London replica of the Middleton's favourite hangout on the private island of Mustique.
Her royal hotness, 27, looked great in a patterned dress by French label Maje which she cinched in with a beige belt.

Keeping things casual, Pippa accessorised with a bright purple cardigan and a pair of the same leg-lengthening nude L.K. Bennett court shoes worn by sister Kate to last week's Derby.
Oddly, her shoes were an almost exact match of those worn by her mother.
Carole Middleton's dress was also a similar cut to her daughter's, featuring a coloured hexagonal design matched with a silk belt tied around her waist.
Father Michael kept it simple in a black suit with a red tie.

The threesome, and some friends, visited private members' club Harry's Bar before returning to the hotel where they spent the night before the royal wedding.
They went back to The Goring to attend a beach party, held in the hotel's grounds where the owners have built a new beach bar which can be used by non-residents and will stay open until September.
Jeremy Goring brought in Basil Charles who owns Basil's Bar on the Caribbean island Mustique, to oversee the exciting project.
Royal connections to the island go back to the Sixties when Princess Margaret built a home there and Kate and Prince William are said to have frequented the island where paparazzi are banned.

Custom-made pieces such as the driftwood counter have been designed by Tunbridge Wells designers Blue Forest , who specialise in über-luxury, sustainable tree houses and eco-lodges.
And the interior of the bar, while inspired by Basil’s, has been given some quirky touches of its own by The Goring’s interior designer, Russell Sage.
They have shipped in 84 tons of sand, three fishing boats and a palm-thatched roof - as well as cocktails created by Basil.

Pippa and her parents would have been able to choose from concoctions such as the Mustique Mule, the Hurricane David and Basil’s Rum Punch.
Earlier in the week, Pippa showed she had lost none of her athletic prowess by taking part in a triathlon.
Despite soaring temperatures, Kate’s younger sister earned a well-deserved medal after completing a 5km race in the GE Blenheim Triathlon, which takes place every year at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.

Pippa was joined by two male friends and opted to do the running part of the competition while the boys completed tough swimming and cycling sections.
Dressed in a pink and grey vest, matching shorts, a £270 pair of Bulgari sunglasses and with an ankle tag to time her, Pippa breezed through her race, completing it in a time of 25 minutes and 30 seconds.
‘People were excited to see her,’ said Alex Coulson, an organiser of the event which attracted 6,000 spectators.
‘The boys completed their courses in good time and joined Pippa to run across the finishing line together.’
Pippa is well-known as a keen sportswoman. At Marlborough and Edinburgh University, she played hockey and tennis and, like her sister, works out daily.
