The Ringer: First Trailer

Earlier this morning we posted the first photos of the upcoming CW drama, The Ringer (view them here).

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as Bridget, a recently sober young woman who is a witness to a murder. Her FBI handler, Agent Victor Machado (played by Nestor Carbonell), swears that he can protect her, but she chooses to escape to New York City. There, she reunites with her twin sister Siobhan (also played by Gellar). The two have been estranged but become close again.

Siobhan is a wealthy woman, married to the dashing Andrew Martin (played by Ioan Gruffudd). She's also friends with a woman named Gemma (played by Tara Summers) and her husband Henry (Kristoffer Polaha). But all of these people have secrets, and when Siobhan mysteriously disappears, Bridget decides to assume her sister's identity and life. She soon learns that someone has put a hit out on Siobhan, leaving her in the very danger she set out to escape.
Below is the first trailer for The Ringer, which will be airing on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. (view the completely CW2011-2012 schedule here).
I personally am thrilled about the return of Sarah Michelle Gellar to television and can't wait for this series. It looks fantastic!
