Casual Cameron is left holding the baby: Mixing with holidaymakers on the beach, Prime Minister enjoys Easter sun

Strolling along the beachfront with his baby daughter strapped to his chest, David Cameron looked like any other holidaymaker yesterday.
The Prime Minister appeared relaxed as he and his family enjoyed the Easter sunshine in Cornwall.
He watched as his children Nancy, seven, and five-year-old Arthur Elwen, enjoyed a surfing lesson in Polzeath, but told friends he was ‘gutted’ he could not join the youngsters in the waves.

Instead, he remained on baby-sitting duty, carrying eight-month-old Florence in a baby sling.
Mr Cameron dressed down in shorts and a dark polo shirt, while wife Samantha covered up in a full-length black dress and olive cardigan. She also carried a huge gold beach bag.

A holidaymaker who took these photographs said: ‘David looked like he was having a brilliant time, despite saying that he really wanted to do some surfing.’

Mr and Mrs Cameron, who were on holiday in Cornwall when Florence was born last August, flew to Spain for a weekend break earlier this month.
But all the main party leaders chose an Easter ‘staycation’ in Britain.
Ed Miliband was spotted in Tenby, South Wales, and Nick Clegg was in north Norfolk.
